St George's Sunday Clubs
...meet most Sundays during the 10.30 service. Children who come to church are invited to Sunday Club across in the Parish Rooms soon after the start of the service. The children return to Church in time to share Communion with their family.
There is a group for primary school children every week unless there is an all-age service. A group for secondary school children meets every other week. The groups are run on a rota by a group of volunteers from the congregation who use ‘Roots Magazine’ for ideas and resources.
Children take part in games, craft and other activities based on the same bible readings as those used in Church. They usually have great fun and look forward to coming out to the front of Church near the end of the service to share what they have been doing.
The Sunday Clubs have also shared outings, parties and fun days together. Why not come and join us!
